The West Broadway Public Market project concept was created based on the needs that residents have identified, and verified through community visioning sessions. The proposed project will transform multiple vacant properties along the 1300-1400 block of West Broadway Ave into a four-story, mixed use building that will reflect the communities desire for unique and inviting places to shop, eat, and gather – and will feature programming that will support and promote access to fresh, healthy food and small business development.

Building will be going RFP in early 2018. The existing structure will likely be largely torn down to make way for more modern usage. The West Broadway Business and Area Coalition with a team of other Northside stakeholders are interested in securing development rights. Street parking, accessible transit, underground parking planned in the development. The building features about 23,000 SF of commercial space. With a number of divisible options. There will be space available in 200-600 Square feet as well as retail space in the 1000-5000 Square foot range. The building includes highly visible frontage on West Broadway Ave. With traffic counts over 15,000 vehicles per day.
